The best thing about the name Ayesha:
Its history. A strong name. Also means littlest one. She was the youngest wife , and supposedly most revered wife of the prophet.
The worst thing about the name:
Mispronunciation. It gets butchered. I get Alicia (drives me nuts), Sasha, esha,asha, isha etc
If my name wasn`t Ayesha....:
It would have been Amina, my middle name.
Extra information:
Took me years to accept it and love it, due to peoples inability to say it properly! It's also my Mums name but hers is spelt Aisha. I love it now.

It's a great name and it forces you to live with enthusiasm

The correct pronunciation is Ah- yee- Sha and most people say ah-ay-sha or isha
